Our Origin & Mission
The founding of Santos Football Academy took place on June 6th, 2021 in Kitimat B.C.. Founded by Head Coach and Professional Football Trainer: Kyree Dos Santos, as a way of sharing the unique training methods developed by the Dos Santos Family over four generations. Our training methods are unique globally as we don’t believe in limiting the creative process. We teach our members to trust their instincts on the pitch at all times. We refuse to over-coach youth footballers in hopes that their creativity flourishes when finding solutions on the pitch. Creating footballers with passing precision, who scan the field of play routinely is our specialty. The ability to provide physical demonstrations of advanced dribbling skills and body movement training techniques is what sets us apart from others.
The mission of Santos Football Academy is to develop top class footballers, who dare to play with creativity. We aim to provide our members with a professional learning environment where elite quality training sessions can be enjoyed by like-minded individuals. Our Scouting network is designed to bridge the gap for rural footballers who live in areas that have been historically overlooked. We provide the professional opportunities but we do not simply “sell the pro dream”, instead we help our members fall in love with the process of self development. Inevitably their love for the game will translate into drive and passion to achieve their goals.

Santos Football Academy is a year-round apprenticeship program designed to achieve elite level results in 3-5 years time. It is a focused process with major emphasis on self-development and enjoying the creative aspects of becoming a quality footballer.
We are looking for focused individuals who are ambitious and passionate about the game of football. Our members must maintain a high level of professionalism and discipline at all times. Strong Attendance and communication are pivotal to the success of our academy, anyone who cannot maintain a high level in these two areas will not be eligible for enrolment.
It is highly recommended that our Junior and Senior academy members complete two days of training per week minimum or their results will be effected significantly. Training on your own time is also a key component, as ball control mastery comes with repetition. Santos Football Academy is a competitive program by nature but our learning environment must always be respectful.
Scouting Network/Club Affiliations:
Santos Football Academy has developed mutually beneficial relationships with IFD Pro Elite Academy (City of Porto, Portugal), Euro Football Exchange and various professional/University clubs within Canada and Portugal. The scouting network that we are actively creating is designed to offer lucrative opportunities to talented players from rural communities that have been historically over-looked due to geography.
Advancement opportunities are perks of the program and only members who have reached the aspiring university/pro-level will be considered for opportunities and representation abroad.

The format will be 6 v 6, 7 v 7 or 8 v 8 with two goalkeepers. These games will take place during the last 1 h 10 mins of our regular training session. The 50 min. training session before the match will be our tactical preparation module designed to set the platform for the in-house evaluation process. After the match is complete, each player will be given positive and constructive feedback in relation to their performance. These games are meant to provide an introduction to the demands of competitive football.
Spectators:
Parents and Fans should limit their presence to watching only from a fair distance, input from outside sources during training is not ideal. We love having parents around but the academy process relies heavily on a stress free and fully authentic youth learning environment.
Spectating and parental viewership are allowed at all times during Future Academy (Age: 7-11) training sessions/matches. All Junior & Senior Academy Scheduled match times are completely open for parents and fans to observe but commentary from the sidelines will not be permitted.
